Registering with the Register for internet trade in veterinary medicinal products
If you are a retailer of veterinary medicinal products and wish to register for inclusion in the Register for internet trade in veterinary medicinal products in The Netherlands, please register using the Web shops for internet trade in veterinary medicinal products registration form.
By registering, you declare to be familiar with the Terms of Use for Internet trade in veterinary medicinal products. After registration in the register, you will be expected to observe the relevant requirements and act accordingly. After registering with the Register for internet trade in veterinary medicinal products, you must display the logo for internet trade in veterinary medicinal products on all pages of the website where you offer veterinary medicinal products.
Costs
Administrative costs will be charged for:
- registration in the Register of Internet Trade in Veterinary Medicines
- a request for a variation
- the annual fee
The amount of these costs can be found under fees and product types Veterinary Medicinal Products Unit.
Changes
It is important that the Register for internet trade in veterinary medicinal products is up to date. To that end, you must notify us immediately of any changes to the information you submitted. Notify us of changes. When reporting a variation, administrative costs will be charged. The amount of these costs can be found under fees and product types Veterinary Medicinal Products Unit.
You must also notify us of changes to information not shown in the online Register, such as your address details. There is no need to notify us of any changes to the information you submitted under ‘Categories of veterinary medicinal products’.
Do you also have a D or DR permit? In that case, you also report the change via the form Wijziging van een vergunning voor de kleinhandel van diergeneesmiddelen. In that case, no double costs will be charged.
The Register is updated once a month, so the changes may not be visible in the Register immediately.
Deregistration
If you cease trading in veterinary medicinal products on the internet, you must remove your entry from the Register for internet trade in veterinary medicinal products. Notify us of your deregistration. Deregistration is free of charge. By notifying us, you will avoid being charged an annual fee for inclusion in the Register. It will also help us keep the Register for internet trade in veterinary medicinal products up to date.
The Register is updated once a month, so your deregistration may not be visible in the Register immediately.
Removal from the Register
If a compliance check has shown that you do not comply with the requirements of the Terms of Use for internet trade in veterinary medicinal products, you will be informed accordingly. We may strike you from the Register for internet trade in veterinary medicinal products. In that case, you must remove the logo for internet trade of veterinary medicinal products yourself from every page of the website displaying the logo.
