The docosahexaenoic acid rich algal oil can be sold as a separate product, or can be used as an ingredient in certain types of food products.
Based on this positive assessment report, the applicant can inform the European Commission about the marketing of docosahexaenoic acid rich algal oil, in accordance with article 5 of European regulation 258/97.
