Assessment report Noni juice, applicant Morinda Inc.
A report on the assessment of the substantial equivalence of noni juice by the company Morinda Inc. with noni juice already authorised for use in the European Union.
The noni juice can be sold as a separate product, or can be used as an ingredient in certain types of food products.
Based on this positive assessment report, the applicant can inform the European Commission about the marketing of noni juice in accordance with article 5 of European regulation 258/97.
The Novel Foods Unit sent this assessment report to the Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport on 11 July 2007.
